Wow. So I had heard about the new Terminator film coming out, but frankly, I didn't put much stock in it. Yes it has Christian Bale, but come on, how many times can the good guys 'fix' the future so the end of the world doesn't happen? (Or, in the case of part 3, John Connor survives.)

Then I saw the teaser here. You may want to watch it before reading on.

I'm all kind of turned on now. For one - the film makes it clear that the previous films have had some kind of impact. The future has changed. That opens all kind of cool possibilities for this film. All the visions we had of the future from the earlier films can now be rewritten. Some of the imagery from the teaser is just plain amazing.

Consider me officially "Really Excited" about this project now. My only beef is that it will - most likely - totally disregard the TV series. I can live with that I guess.
