SCI FI Channel has given a green light for production to begin on Caprica, a two-hour backdoor pilot and Battlestar Galactica prequel from executive producers Ronald D. Moore and David Eick. Production is slated to begin in Vancouver, Canada, this spring.

NEW YORK, March 13 - Ten stars of the hit science fiction series "Battlestar Galactica," including Edward James Olmos, Mary McDonnell, Katee Sackhoff, Jamie Bamber, Tricia Helfer and Lucy Lawless, will present the Top Ten List on the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, Wednesday, March 19 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The fourth season of the show premieres Friday, April 4. The LATE SHOW is a production of Worldwide Pants Incorporated. Barbara Gaines, Maria Pope, Jude Brennan and Rob Burnett are the executive producers.

Writer's strike be damned, SciFi Channel has announced the dates for season 4. Friday, March 28th at 9:00pm CST with two special episodes. The first is a recap/catchup episode and the second is a look at the impact of BSG on the culture.

Season 4 officially starts on Friday - April 4th at 9:00pm CST.

BSG fans in selected cities can signup for an Advanced Screening Event to preview the upcoming Razor weeks before the actual airdate.
